Justin Sullivan and their New Model Army They were forced to cancel their tour last year due to the injury of their drummer, Michael Dean. Now, after recovery, they return to fulfill their four dates in our country.
New Model Army, the highly respected post-punk and folk group, with a career that began in the early eighties with Justin Sullivan as the main thinker, will return to our country, a territory in which they have always had loyal followers who have not stopped attending their concerts. The problem was that last year they were forced to postpone their world tour until 2025 due to the injury of their drummer Michael Dean. In the group’s own statement you could read exactly that: “From the beginning of our current tour, Michael played with a pinched nerve in his left arm. With a mixture of painkillers and an iron will, he took us from concert to concert throughout the spring, but in the summer he also had pinched nerves in his right arm and was suffering greatly. So, in early September, he underwent neck surgery to free the nerves, but, unfortunately, it turned out to be a much more complicated and invasive procedure than we had been told. made believe, and will need considerable time to recover. So, with great regret, we are suspending all tours for the rest of the year and rescheduling everything already planned for 2025. We are aware that many of you have made plans around upcoming concerts, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. “
And now that long-awaited moment has arrived. That of recovering those four concerts from what is one of those bands that never disappoints on stage. So, this same month of November, we will be able to see the group in Bilbao (Thursday November 6, Santana 27), Madrid (Friday November 7, Sala Mon), Valencia (Saturday November 8, Rock City) and Barcelona (Sunday November 9, Razzmatazz 2).
