Lucas explains, through tears, his nose operation in EH

If something good is coming out of the stark and equal war between ‘La Revuelta’ and ‘El Hormiguero’, it is that more musicians than ever are playing prime-time in our country. While C. Tangana and Yerai Cortés went to the La 1 program to talk about their Goya nominations, Andy and Lucas went to ‘El Hormiguero’ to talk about their tour, which has sold out seats in some WiZink Center-sized venues (two dates in Madrid, in fact).

Taking advantage of the occasion, Lucas wanted to talk for the first time about his nose operation, due to how much he has been laughed at online, on the street or in the pseudo-media.

The singer denied that the damage was due to drug use and revealed that he had undergone cosmetic surgery, “due to circumstances”, among other things “due to a deviated septum.” According to him, through his own fault, something had gone wrong. “I didn’t put the ointments on, I took off the gauze before time,” he said, causing the wound “to not heal as it should.” “This is the face I’m going to have for a lot of months,” he lamented, indicating that he will have surgery again when the tour ends.

Out of respect, Lucas asked that people stop laughing at him in the street and that they stop bothering his children at school. He also asked for a ban on social networks for minors under 16 years of age, as well as identification on them using ID, asking parents for responsibility. “It’s my opinion, please respect it,” he asked, eloquently, through tears. In addition, he attacked the media that spread “fake news”, pointing to “comrades” of Pablo Motos, in reference to pseudo-journalists.

If anyone doubted that ‘El Hormiguero’ was really going to talk about music, Lucas also asked for respect for his artistic career, appealing to the journey that both ‘Son de amores’ and ‘Tanto la loved’ had had. Both songs, which opened their album ‘Andy y Lucas’ back in 2003, exceed 100 million streams on Spotify.
