Los Enemigos announce their return album, “Canciones chulas”, for October

The highly respected and influential band The Enemies announces its return to activity. In October they will have a new job, “Cool songs”by Mushroom Pillow and on April 16 we will be able to hear its first preview.

In recent weeks, Josele Santiago has been giving clues about a possible return of Los Enemigos, taking advantage of the promotion of his memoirs, published by Contra, “From the pallet”. And now it is confirmed that it is a reality. The group will return in 2026 and also with new album material. It will be a full-length album, “Cool songs”which will be published in October by Mushroom Pillow. Now we need to know what it will sound like, although we are clear that Santiago, Fino Oyonarte, Chema “Animal” Pérez and David Krahe are not going to disappoint us and that they will once again offer us a good handful of songs with nerve and interesting lyrics.

One of the most representative groups from Madrid, with its own personality and father of the alternative generation of the nineties, despite having arrived a few years before, will return with a new preview single on April 16. Now, for now, they offer us a small teaser that already gives us clues that it will be a song in which, once again, the guitars will be the main protagonists.

Active since 1985 (and with the anniversary of their first album in 2026 (“Perfectly”), Los Enemigos have signed some of the essential songs of rock in Spanish and built a solid, charismatic and deeply influential work. Fundamental albums like “Life kills” (90), “The countdown” (91), “Nothing” (99) or “Beastness” (20) have left an intergenerational mark not only among their loyal audience, but also among musicians who have taken their repertoire and artistic attitude as a reference. A discography that confirms them as a truly unique group.
