Liam Gallagher has announced that he will play ‘Definitely Maybe’, Oasis’ first album, on a special tour commemorating the album’s 30th anniversary, taking place in June 2024 in the UK and Ireland.
The tour will kick off on June 2 in Sheffield and will pass through London, Manchester or Dublin before concluding with a final date in Manchester, which is the city from which brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher come, on the 27th of that month. You can see all the official dates below these lines.
Gallagher has confirmed that on the ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour he will play the album in its entirety, and that he will also recover “a selection of b-sides.” You could also rescue songs not published on the album but that came out at the time, such as ‘Whatever’, ‘Fade Away’, ‘Listen Up’ or ‘Sad Song’.
In official words, Gallagher has said that ‘Definitely Maybe’ is the “most important album of the ’90s, without a doubt” and that, without it, “I wouldn’t be here, and neither would you.”
