Let’s Festival celebrates twenty years with Dorian and Standstill

A couple of months ago it was announced that in the twenty-first edition of the Let’s Festival we could enjoy a long list of concerts. Well, now a special concert is announced to celebrate its twentieth anniversary.

In this new edition, Let’s Festival will host national, international and emerging artists, with sixteen concerts and thirty-one proposals distributed among the four rooms in L’Hospitalet: Salamandra, El Pumarejo, Sala River and L’Oncle Jack from the March 5 to 28 of the same month.

But now a special opening concert and celebration of its twentieth anniversary with a luxury poster has been announced. It will be on Thursday, March 5 at Salamandra and the main protagonists will be two of the Barcelona bands that are essential in the history of the venue. We are talking about Dorian and Stand stilltwo very different groups, but that have shared the bill on various occasions. Although that is not all, there will also be a special session of Nacho Ruizone of the most important DJs on the city’s indie scene and resident in various venues. Likewise, there will be a third band that will be part of the lineup and will be announced later. The concerts will have a shorter duration than usual because, in reality, they will feature collaborations between the artists and some surprises.

As for the rest of the Let’s Festival, in Salamandra, the lineup will combine established names and new proposals. Among others, Alizzz will bring his electronic indie, together with SVSTO. Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, one of the groups of the moment, will play with a Gara Durán that provides pop sensitivity and intimate textures. The Norwegians Kakkmaddafakka present their energetic and happy indie rock, accompanied by Alavedra. Buzzcocks celebrate their fiftieth anniversary with a historic live show that reviews their punk legacy. The Red Room, which celebrates thirty years of experience, will present its repertoire combining classics and new compositions. At El Pumarejo, the concerts offer a more experimental look at the new wave Basque-Catalan underground indie. Ezezez, Mexican Axolotes and Los Chivatos stand out. Finally, it should be noted that in the River Room, the space is dedicated to the most emerging scene and in L’Oncle Jack, the concerts are committed to intimate and close live performances.

The festival will close with the Jack Daniel’s Closing Party, a special evening celebrating twenty years of the Let’s Festival. For the first time, two of the biggest names on the indie scene, Amable and David Van Bylen, will share a session in a memorable B2B, putting an end to a full month of live music at L’Hospitalet.

Remember, this special anniversary concert will be the Thursday, March 5 at Salamandra de L’Hospitalet (Barcelona). You can get advance tickets at www.letsfestival.cat.
