The Sticker has invited the Paraguayan group Kchiporros in “Rómpela”, a single that pays tribute to Mexico and the festival of Day of the Dead.
The Catalan band has released their new single, “Rómpela”, in collaboration with the Paraguayan group Kchiporros. In it, they pay tribute to Mexico and the festival of Day of the Deadwith a ska sound full of energy. In addition, the song is accompanied by a video clip made with snapshots that the same group took in Mexico City. “Rómpela” joins the already released songs “Con este fuego” and “You always have us here”, which will be part of their next album “neighborhood fires”.
The Catalans are immersed in their return tour of the United States and Latin America. The next Spanish dates are the days May 22 and 23 at La Riviera in Madridand the May 29 at the Poble Espanyol in Barcelonawithin the cycle Empremtes Festival. During the summer, the band will also perform at various festivals nationwide such as Babel River, Weekend Beach Festival, Sonrias Baixas either Sonorama Riberaamong others.
The Sticker is a Catalan rumba, ska and party group founded in 2003 in Moncada and Reixach. Over more than twenty years of experience, the Catalans have given more than a thousand concerts in thirty countries, becoming one of the Spanish groups with the most international projection. In 2024 they announced an indefinite hiatus, but the band is already back with a new album and the concerts that will mark the beginning of their new stage.
