Almost a year after we released the single ‘Folded’, Kehlani’s new album will be released. The singer who has so loved classic R&B has just finally announced that her new album, which will be self-titled, will go on sale on April 24.
The album will contain 17 songs. We know the cover, we don’t know the tracklist, but we know that ‘Folded’, released in June 2025, will be track 4; and that ‘Out the Window’, which came out in November, will be track 10. Presumably we will soon have the third single, which may have been held back because ‘Folded’ has been a huge sleeper.
Unexpectedly, ‘Folded’ is now approaching 500 million streams on Spotify, on its way to surpassing its collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign or its song for the ‘Suicide Squad’ soundtrack. It continues in the top 200 of global lists after months of permanence.
Kehlani’s previous album was ‘Crash’ in 2024 and we also released the mixtape ‘While We Wait 2’ that year, the second part of the one published in 2019.
