Jungle release the third preview of their next album, ‘Sunshine’. In terms of promotion, this release occupies a similar place to that ‘Back to 74’ had in their previous album campaign. After ‘Carry On’ and ‘The Wave’, the group continues to raise the BPM and present their most disco-funk advance to date, in addition to being probably the most accessible and the one that will most quickly capture the public’s attention.
‘Someday, Somewhere’ uses Jungle’s most recognizable resources: danceable rhythm, retro vibes and warm harmonies. The song comes in like a cold soda under the sun. It’s the Song of the Day and a serious candidate for song of the summer.
With just the right amount of melancholy, another characteristic feature of Jungle, ‘Someday, Somewhere’ “talks about holding on to the feeling that something better is yet to come,” as the group explains. “It has that end-of-summer Jungle optimism, with a little longing, a little desire to escape, and, we hope, something people can get lost in,” they add.
Nor does the visual proposal of ‘Someday, Somewhere’ change, which is presented with a video clip featuring expressive choreography. Why change what works? Jungle do their thing, they do it very well and few know how to do it with as much personality as them. After a ‘Volcano’ that is still very present, ‘Sunshine’ will be released on August 14.
We remind you that Jungle will present ‘Sunshine’ with two concerts in Spain on November 26 and 28 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid and the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, respectively.
