Megadeth have just released “I Don’t Care”, the second single from the last album of the group’s career, scheduled for next January 23.
The band has released “I Don’t Care”, the second preview of their self-titled album and last of his career that will be released next January 23 through BLIKBLIK. The song, which one’s own Dave Mustaine described as an anthem to release the thoughts that are never said, comes accompanied by a video clip directed by Keith J. Lerman.
“I Don’t Care” follows “Tipping Point”, the first preview released last month. The album will also include a bonus track of a completely revamped version of “Ride the Lightning” by Metallicasong that Mustaine he co-wrote when he was part of the Californian band. The release of the album will coincide with the group’s farewell tour in 2026, which could last up to five years.
Originally from Los Angeles, Megadeth is a thrash metal band created in 1983 by Dave Mustaineafter his expulsion from Metallica. The group has more than thirty years of career, fifteen studio albums and a distinctive style in their sound. Next year they will say goodbye to the stage after a long career.
