Harry Styles leaves Bad Gyal without top 1 in Spain, but she wins in streaming

Harry Styles has landed this week in first place on the Spanish album chart, just ahead of Bad Gyal and his ‘Más Cara’. The achievement of ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’ marks the second time that the British artist has achieved number 1 in Spain, the first being with ‘Harry’s House’. On the other hand, it has also been number 1 in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Vinyl is what has allowed Styles to surpass Bad Gyal, also occupying the first place on this list. The Catalan artist, however, has not yet officially put the physical edition of ‘Más Cara’ on sale, so the data has not been counted this week. The vinyl version of their previous album, ‘La Joia’, has returned to sixth place on this list.

If conditions had been equal, it is possible that Alba Farelo would have achieved first place in Discos España. Especially considering how the singles list is full of songs from ‘Más Cara’. Harry, however, has not been as successful as the Catalan in this regard. 11 songs from ‘Más cara’ appear in the official top 100 singles, compared to only 3 from Harry’s album.

In the rest of the album list we only find three other entries, in addition to the great rise of ‘La Joia’, from position 71 to number 26. In this way, Chambao and its special 25th anniversary album enter at number 21, while Morrissey’s most recent release, ‘Make-Up Is A Lie’, stands at number 34. Finally, Nat Simons places ‘Ask Sarah Connor’ at number 70 in the classification.
