The musician and composer Guille Galvanmember of Old Morlareleases “At what moment I doubted you”, the first preview of his debut solo album.
This single marks the beginning of the first personal project of Galvan and reveals some of the keys to his first work. Guille shares: “‘At what moment did I doubt you’ is an approach to someone with whom you have not been fair and now you try to value it by recognizing everything they have done. The song is raw and honest. Told from the delicacy of a voice and a guitar, without artifice.” Galvan He adds: “It is a bare-chested statement, finding our own in the other’s fragility and using that wound as a channel of communication and empathy.”
“I recorded this album at home,” says the Madrid artist, “guitar and voice at the same time, with Héctor in charge of the sound. I thought that if I had to find my way of singing, I should get rid of almost everything and return to the origin.”
The launch is accompanied by a video made by Pablo Hoyoswhich reinforces the closeness from the room where the album was recorded, surrounded by his instruments, personal objects, memories and photographs.
For the first time, Guille He places himself in charge of his own project and defends it with his voice. After more than two decades composing, recording and touring much of the world as a member of Old Morla, Galvan He has become one of the most prominent Spanish-language song writers of his generation.
