“Gasoline”, preview of the new work by Buck Meek (Big Thief)

The American musician Buck Meek (Big Thief) anticipates what will be his fourth solo album, “The Mirror”and gives us a preview of his first single “Gasoline”.

Buck Meek, also a member of Big Thief, returns to his old ways with an album that reveals, once again, his ability to address human feelings in an intimate and delicate way. In that curiosity for the singularity of the mundane, the American establishes the February 27 as the release date of this fourth studio album.

With the album announcement, Buck Meek He wanted to surprise his followers with the first preview “Gasoline”. The first song in a repertoire that reaches eleven songs in total: “Gasoline”, “Pretty Flowers”, “Can I Mend It?”, “Ring Of Fire”, “Demon”, “God Knows Why”, “Heart In The Mirror”, “Worms”, “Soul Feeling”, “Deja Vu” and “Outta Body”.

In the creation of this new work, Meek has great collaborations such as Adrianne Lenker in the voice, Adam Brisbin on the guitar, Ken Woodward bass, as well as the incorporation of less conventional sounds such as a prismatic harp, by Mary Lattimoreor the presence of the ambient musician Alex Somers. All this added to the production of Meek himself and James Krivchenia.

To present “The Mirror”, Buck Meek will tour the United Kingdom and Europe next spring with stops in London, Manchester, Leeds, Paris and Brussels.
