First look at the looks of the Beatles biopic

The Beatles biopic, made up of four films dedicated to each of its members, will be one of the major film releases of 2028. Specifically, it will be in April of that year when we can see the four films starring Harris Dickinson (John Lennon), Paul Mescal (Paul McCartney), Joseph Quinn (George Harrison) and Barry Keoghan (Ringo Starr). Sam Mendes is the director of this ‘The Beatles Four-Film Cinematic Event’ that we are already looking forward to like a May day.

Although there are still two years until the premiere of the biopics, the first look at the characterizations of its four protagonists has been revealed. The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts – co-founded by Paul McCartney – has received four postcards from Sony Pictures showing Dickinson, Mescal, Quinn and Keoghan recreating the iconic looks of each Beatle they represent.

Barry Keoghan has had the worst luck, not because his look is bad – which it is not – but because Argentine fans have detected similarities between his characterization of Ringo Starr and the appearance of the controversial president of Argentina, Javier Milei. Although it would be more appropriate to say that it is the Argentine leader who wears a typical Beatles look.

Sony Pictures has revealed the footage today, January 30, a date Beatles fans know all too well, as it marks the 57th anniversary of their famous 1969 balcony concert, where the Beatles last performed together.
