A new preview of the collaborative album arrives HELP(2) of which they will be part Ezra Collective and Greentea Peng with “Helicopters”.
The song has been produced by the British band while the mixing has been done by David Wrench. In a collaboration with Greentea Peng mixing a hypnotic bassline and deep dub textures with thought-provoking lyrics. Modern oppression and increased policing in the UK is tackled, ending with a message of peace and unity.
After winning the Mercury Prize in 2023, Ezra Collective continues to establish itself as one of the most influential jazz bands in the United Kingdom. “Helicopters” is part of HELP(2)an album inspired by the historic charity album HELP1995. The objective of which is to raise funds and raise awareness about the work of War Child. It will be released this coming Friday March 6 and seeks not only to raise funds, but also to turn compassion into collective action to protect children in war zones.
In addition to Ezra Collective and Greentea Peng, “HELP(2)” has the participation of: Arctic Monkeys, Damon Albarn, Olivia Rodrigo among a very long list of participants.
