Evan Dando (The Lemonheads) has been admitted to a mental health facility after sending an unsolicited explicit video to a fan.

The leader of The Lemonheads is receiving mental health treatment in hospital after sending an unsolicited explicit video to a fan. The follower, identified as Dawn, told a journalist that she contacted Dando via direct message on social media to congratulate him on The Lemonheads’ new album, “Love ChantThe artist allegedly responded “Cool, sorry, I’m an exhibitionist” and sent an explicit video to Dawn without her consent the next day.

His manager has stated to the media the following: “Evan Dando has been dealing with mental health issues for a long time that date back to his childhood.” He has also commented that the artist has been admitted to a local hospital where he receives comprehensive help from experienced doctors and mental health professionals.

Dando has previously spoken about his history of mental illness and drug addiction in his memoir, “Rumors Of My Demise“, published last year. Evan Dando is known both for being the fundamental axis of The Lemonheads, a band that marked much of the nineties, and also for continuing his solo career.
