Ethel Cain returns to Synth-Pop in the epic 'Fuck Me Eyes'

Music news

Ethel Cain sells more than Black Keys and Jonas Brothers

Bad Bunny recovers the number 1 of albums in Spain with ‘I had to throw more photos’ after a few weeks around the Top 3. Aitana, which had recovered the top 1 with ‘Fourth blue’ thanks to its concerts in large stadiums, lowers only the number 2. Bad Bunny’s album is 5 times platinum; and that of Aitana, Platinum.

The strongest entrance these days is «Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You» by Ethel Cain, our last album of the week, which arrives directly to the 27th place in Spain after having achieved position 2 on the vinyl list. This has been the best -selling vinyl of the country this week after Aitana’s. In addition, ours is not one of the best international data for Ethel Cain’s second studio album.

This Ethel Cain album has achieved the Top 12 in UK, the Top 14 in the United States, the Top 16 in Germany, the Top 11 in Holland and the Top 5 in Australia. The data achieved are very similar to those achieved by their previous work, ‘Preacher’s Daughter’, so it seems that his fame sits, his audience remains faithful, but does not grow either.

For the hairs the new Black Keys album, ‘No Rain, no Flowers’, arrives at the top 100, which sneaks into the 66th place, being Top 9 in vinyl. The album is Top 47 in the United Kingdom and Top 52 in the United States, far from its multipatine times.

Jonas Brothers’s public is clear that it also won: the group does not even manage to reach the top 100 of Spain with ‘Greetings from your hometown’. Lasted by low streaming and perhaps a bad distribution of the physicist, the album is out of the official Spanish list. We do know that at least some copy has been distributed because the album appears in the 93rd position of LP’s.

In international data, Jonas Brothers’s album is Top 6 in the United States, Top 55 in Canada, Top 63 in Holland, and is outside the Top 100 of the United Kingdom despite having been number 26 in sales.

Returning to the official Spanish list, ‘satirology’ of Kidd Voodoo reaches number 33; ‘Metal Forth’ of Babymetal to the 85th place; ‘Lost American’ from MGK to 87; and ‘a suitcase in feeling’ of Kris R, in place 93.
