Ed Sheeran returns to 2011 at (des) angry ‘A Little More’

Musically, Ed Sheeran has already been a bit of a fallen layer. In ‘A Little More’, the British artist delivers a funny, mocking and unpretentious song that is also a return to its beginnings: video clip with Rupert Grint to the ‘Lego House’, a catchy chorus to more power and verse of rap included. Therefore, it is the song of the day.

“I have released three albums without rapeing and fans wanted my 2011 self to return,” Sheeran written in an Instagram post. Thus ‘A Little More’ is born, one of the most acidic songs of the artist’s career. In fact, he is as scathing as goodrollera: “I used to love you, but now I hate you a little more every day,” he sings in the chorus.

“I have to close the door, shit, to build bridges / take your apologies and throw them away,” Rapea Sheeran. In the vein of songs like ‘Fuck you’ by Ceelo Green or ‘Roses’ by Outkast, ‘A Little More’ has moments to drop the micro to the ground: “One day, we will all be dead / but from now on until then / I don’t want to see you ever.”

The video clip is both the reunion with actor Rupert Grint after the video of ‘Lego House’ and the second part of that, released 14 years ago. In this way, Grint’s character is trying to detoxify the obsession he had with Sheeran in ‘Lego House’, seeing it in every corner he addresses. For example, on the altar. ‘A Little More’ is the fourth single from ‘Play’, available on September 12.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_0wn73Anc8
