Douglas McCarthy, vocalist and founding member of Nitzer EBB dies

Social networks of Nitzer EBB They have announced the news of the death of Douglas McCarthyvocalist and founding member of the group, at fifty -eight years of age.

Away from the scenarios for a few months because of his illness, Douglas McCarthy, vocalist and founding member of Nitzer EBB, has died from a liver cirrhosis from which he has not recovered weights to the rest season to recover. He was fifty -eight at the time of his death.

McCarthy and Bon Harristwo of the three founding members of which it is one of the most popular and relevant bands of what is known as EBM (Electronic Body Music) since they began their trajectory in the second half of the eighties, they were still active with the formation. In fact there were three planned dates of the group for next December (in Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid).

His are albums such as, among others, “That Total Age” (87), “Belief” (89), “Showtime” (90) and “Ebbhead” (91), as well as singles as “Join The Chant”, “Let your Body Learn”, “Family Man”, “Godhead” or “Kick it”.
