Dani Martín responds to criticism after his viral controversy in Córdoba: “We have very thin skin lately”

Dani Martín has been at the center of controversy on social networks in the last few hours after the viralization of a clip of him at the last concert of his ’25 P*t*s Años’ tour, which took place in Córdoba. In the video you can see the interaction between the singer and a girl who wanted to sing on stage with him. Although Martín assures that it was a “quite tender and comical situation”, the networks have taken it differently.

The singer sees the girl holding up a sign that reads “Will you put me on stage?” and he responds that “later” he will upload it: “You want it now, but things can’t be when you say. “You are very poorly educated,” the artist said in a joking tone. He continued: «Do you believe that you climb into someone’s arms, put that on and do whatever you want or what? What do you think I am? A romper? When I say, you’ll go up, okay?” she comments before asking for applause for herself.

In the end, it is true that the girl was left without going on stage. After the commotion created on networks, with the majority of users criticizing Dani Martín’s attitude, the singer has uploaded a series of videos to his Stories in which he claims to feel “surprised” by what he generates clicks today. He describes what happened as a “tender” and “comical” situation in which he adopts a “clown tone.”

Martín remains slightly sarcastic during the statement: “It doesn’t matter any further, I apologize to all those offended and I will walk on my knees to the road this afternoon.” He goes on to say that “the best thing will be not to communicate between people, because everything is looked at with a magnifying glass taken out of context, with the videos edited… I asked for a round of applause for the girl and everything, I don’t know what else I needed to do,” he says.

The artist ends by reflecting on the need to cause controversy with anything: «We need there to be problems all the time and everything is fine. The real problems are others,” he says. Before saying goodbye, he apologizes again: “Anyone who feels offended, I apologize, even if I don’t have to, but hey, it seems like we have very thin skin lately.”
