Curtis Harding has announced the tour to present his latest album “Departures & Arrivals: Adventures Of Captain Curt”with concerts in Madrid and Barcelona.
The American has confirmed his next tour, in which he will present his latest full-length “Departures & Arrivals: Adventures Of Captain Curt“. The artist will pass through Spain, offering two concerts in Madrid (June 29, Lula Club) and Barcelona (July 3, La (2) d’Apolo). Even so, this is not the first time that he has presented the film in front of the Spanish public, since he performed last October in Madrid, selling out the tickets.
Regarding the album, the artist himself comments that “producing it has been like returning to my roots. But this time I felt more confident and able to explore the sounds I really wanted. I love building worlds in the studio, trying new things and not staying doing the same thing.” “Departures & Arrivals: Adventures Of Captain Curt” is a project that fuses the drama of opera with the emotional intensity of classic soul, and is the artist’s most experimental work to date.
Michigan native, Curtis Harding began his career by lending his voice to some remixes of OutKast and as a chorus girl Cee Lo Green on a couple of albums, and later live. In 2013, and after the union with Cole Alexander (Black Lips guitarist), released their first single. Afterwards, Harding was offered to start his solo career. “Soul Power” was his debut album, in 2014, and after it he published two more until the release of his latest album. He has also collaborated with The Difference Machinee, and composed a song for the television adaptation of the video game “League of Legends”.
