References return to our country Clan Of Xymoxa formation that marked the beginnings of the sound darkwave. This time they will offer a forty-fifth anniversary concert in Valencia.
The legendary Dutch band Clan of Xymox is celebrating forty-five years of career and will do so with a European tour that will bring them back to Spain with an exclusive date. And to round out the lineup there will be none other than other sound references. synth-dark, Psyche.
Since their formation in the eighties, Clan Of Xymox have become one of the fundamental names for being the pioneers of European darkwave, combining dark atmospheres, hypnotic electronics and a deeply melancholic aesthetic. Their self-titled debut and the iconic “Jellyfish”released under the legendary 4AD label, quickly positioned them as references of the international Gothic movement.
Over the decades they have maintained a solid and respected career, releasing acclaimed albums and touring around the world with a sound that blends darkwave, post-punk and emotional electronica. Their songs have become anthems of the alternative scene and continue to conquer new generations of followers. Joining them will be Psyche, a pioneering Canadian synth-dark project founded by Darrin Huss, whose career also dates back to the eighties with classics like “The Saint Became a Lush”.
