Bunbury denies a bulre at the request to Amaral

Amaral had the opportunity to endorse Bob Dylan in 2004 during a tour of Spain: something they will not forget in their life, without a doubt. The Tour left, on the contrary, a bitter taste because of a bully that has circulated during these 20 years. That Bunbury was very angry not to have booked Bob Dylan; So much, that he would have dedicated to Eva Amaral the theme ‘ungrateful whore’.

That theme included in ‘The time of cherries’ said things like “you won your place with ingenious ingenuity / I do not understand how you are able to feel dangerous being so vulgar” or “I do not know anyone who lies like you / with such discipline, precision and sincerity.”

These days Amaral have come to networks to ask Bunbury to clarify all this, after a critical left account called again to bring the rumor to today. To this account they replied: “Instead of coming here to attack and count stupids why you do not ask @bunburyoficial we believe that it is time for the truth to be told and in passing that their followers leave us alone.”

And they continued to comment on X: «Big tiredness of so much macho attack. The same this man should have stopped this a long time ago (…) This is not a matter of being better or worse. It is a story of continuous harassment by some followers of @bunburyoofenta with quite misogynist and chungos and also threats. All based on a story that someone invented. Enough already!

Bunbury has taken the glove and has denied on his Instagram that ‘ungrateful whore’ is addressed to Eva. In addition, he has taken the opportunity to remember how the facts were around the tour of Bob Dylan and his feelings about it: «I do not mind insisting that on that tour they were hired to open to Dylan and that Gay Mercader called me to replace them with a problem in the hand of Juan Aguirre. I offered to do the missing shows. When they told me that Eva would continue to do the shows alone, I was glad for her, although I was excited to open for Dylan. Amaral did not take my position at all. It was his. I never got angry, because I had no reason.

On the song itself, he clarifies: «I do not usually attend rumorologies, nor dimes and direct, or attend what is said in the networks, but I get the discomfort that the Amaral duo has shown because of the insistence and insults that some have made them reach over the years. I know that since the song was published in the album, cherry weather in 2006 emerged that it was dedicated to Eva Amaral. Although the rumor does not have a sustainable base, but rather the opposite ».

He continues to insist later: «The song has nothing to do with her. It is a song in the manner of Latin American spite songs that I like so much. In that same album we recorded Bravo, which is even harder. In any case, I am very sorry for the damage that has been caused in all these years messages that have sent them through social networks, those who take a rumorology so seriously, that I did not start and that I am not at all responsible. Even so, I ask from here the respect they have and deserve. Amaral is an obvious and capital talent duo, to which from here I send my admiration and apologies for everything suffered ».
