Bad Bunny floods Spain Singles, Billboard… and the “Nuevayol” meter

Bad Bunny continues to be in the news for the achievements of his new album, ‘I should have thrown more photos’. The album, official number 1 in Spain, places absolutely all of its songs in the top 100 singles in our country. The one that has gone the furthest so far is ‘Nuevayol’, which appears in the top 2, although we have to wait until next week to see what happens with its 17 songs, since the album did not come out on Friday, but on Sunday the afternoon, so it has not yet computed a full week. This is how things have remained in Spain for now:

2.-Nuevayol
3.-Veldá
4.-I’m going to take you to PR
5.-Unforgettable dance
6.-DTMF
8.-The Club
9.-New perfume
10.-Weltite
14.-Eoo
16.-Ketu tecre
17.-Kloufrens
19.-Bokete
22.-Tourist
23.-Coffee with Rum
26.-The move
31.-What happened to Hawaii

Bad Bunny leaves little room for more entries in Spain and the only remaining ones that we find in the top 100 are ‘El Ingeniero’ by Alleh and Yorghaki (position 25) and ‘Una noche’ by the same artists in position 44; ‘Forget’ by Morad, in 71; and ‘Triple Impact’ by Beny Jr and Julianno Sosa, in 90. Songs that would have reached 15 places higher if they had been released any other week.

If your thing is the American Billboard Hot 100, Bad Bunny has also placed the 17 songs from ‘I should have thrown more photos’ on the chart. Thus, he is the first Latin artist to have placed 100 songs on such a competitive chart.
27.-Newyol
28.-Unforgettable Dance
36.-I’m going to take you to PR
37.-The Club
38.-DtMF
43.-Veldá, ft Omar Courtz & Dei V
45.-Perfumito Nuevo, ft RaiNao
52.-Weltita, ft Chuwi
54.-EoO
59.-Ketu Tecre
60.-Coconut Spout
66.-Kloufrens
69.-Bokete
77.-Tourist
83.-Café con Ron, ft Los Pleneros de la Cresta
94.-What Happened to Hawaii
95.-The Move

As in celebration of all this, Bad Bunny has been the guest on Jimmy Fallon’s new show. On his set he has chosen to perform, not ‘Nuevayol’, not his viral ‘DtMF’, not the single ‘EL CLÚB’, not ‘Baile unforgettable’, but ‘I’m going to take you to ‘PR’. The show has been set in a makeshift laundry, in perfect playback.

If yesterday you wanted to listen to Bad Bunny live, your place was actually the New York Subway. There the artist, in costume and together with Jimmy Fallon’s team, has offered a version of Back Street Boys, and now without costume, a reduced version of ‘Nuevayol’. The event ended in absolute madness, with subway passengers recording with their cell phones and crying their eyes out.
