Bad Bunny faces a million-dollar lawsuit for the use of voice notes in “Solo de Mí” and “EoO”

The Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny has been sued for sixteen million dollars for using a woman’s voice notes without her permission.

Bad Bunnyone of the most recognized artists in urban music, has been accused of using without authorization two voice notes of a woman for his songs “Solo de Mí” belonging to his debut “x 100pre” (Rimas Entertainment, 18) and “EoO” from his latest work “I should have taken more photos” (Rimas Entertainment, 25).

The plaintiff is Tainaly Serrano, who alleges that the audios were recorded for La Paciencia, Bad Bunny’s producer. Some recordings about which he claims he was not told what they would be used for and for which no contract or agreement was signed.

Given the presence of both voice notes in the two songs and the lack of knowledge of the commercial use that they have ended up being given, the woman requests sixteen million dollars from the singer and producer for having violated her right of publicity.

At the moment, Bad Bunny’s team or the singer himself have not commented on the matter and the case is pending final resolution by the State Courts of Puerto Rico.

The last studio album by the Puerto Rican, “I should have taken more photos” (25), had great international impact, reaching the Top 1 on the Billboard 200in addition to breaking records on digital platforms.
