Heroes Never Die” is the tribute film with which the French ARTE channel pays tribute to David Bowie to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his death. Now you can see it in full.

A few days ago, the French media ARTE premiered “Heroes Never Die”, a film directed by Thierry Gautier and Sylvain Leduc in which bands and musicians like Carl Barat and Pete Doherty of The Libertines, The Molotovs, The Horrors, La Roux, Jeanne Added, Anna Calvi, Isobel Waller-Bridge, The Divine Comedy and Yasmine Hamdan They come together to celebrate Bowie’s legacy by covering some of his most iconic songs. A date that coincided with the tenth anniversary of the artist’s death, after a private battle against cancer.

After recording his version of “Rock’N’Roll Suicide”, a song included on the album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” (74), Carl Barat and Pete Doherty They met to talk about Bowie’s influence, where Barât noted that Bowie’s music had brought him out of moments of loneliness and despair.
