Tristan Shonebetter known artistically as Author & Punisherwill celebrate its twenty years of experience in our country twice. It will be the October 20 in Madridas a guest of Blood Incantationand the October 21 in Barcelona.
Tristan Shonemechanical engineer, sound artist and inventor, has been challenging the limits of industrial sound for two decades as Author & Punisherhis solo project that fuses music, engineering and visual art. You only have to attend his concerts to marvel at his Drone Machines, controllers, machines and instruments designed by himself with which he creates an immersive and very physical sound experience that takes us hand in hand to the most misty terrains of drone, noise, doom or experimental electronics.
Since last year, the San Diego artist has been celebrating his twenty years of experience both as an inventor of instruments and as a musician, which has led him to tour alone on countless occasions or to share the stage with artists such as Tools either Neurosisto name a couple.
This year he will publish a new album, his eighth, by Relapse Records, and part of that material will surely be part of the soundtrack of his concerts in Madrid and Barcelona.
