Alcalá Norte will launch “The Planet Man” next week

It has been a long time since the people of Madrid Alcala North They published their successful first full-length, “Alcalá Norte” (Balaunka, 24), but it’s time to listen to new material. And it seems that the wait is coming to an end.

With their first album, Alcalá Norte have become one of the essential names in the independent scene of our music scene. But songs like “La Vida Cañón”, “Los Chavales” or “La Sangre del Pobre” cry out for new repertoire companions to come to light in the studio.

And that is about to happen. because the group has just announced that “El hombre planeta”, the first preview of what will be their new work – which Balaunka will publish in a few months – can be heard on March 5 on platforms.

According to the communication that the band has released on the subject, “The Planet Man” is a “pop-rock artifact in major mode. The lyrics capture the moment in which the legendary violinist Niccolò Paganini negotiates the price of his soul with his unexpected new manager: Satan.” The story is told from the perspective of the German Heinrich Heine in his story “The Florentine Nights”.
