The Conference on Culture and the Internet, organized by Caostica and the cultural producer and manager Borja Crespowill be held from September 28 to October 4 at Bilborock and Sala BBK.
Tracking Bilbao returns from September 28 to October 4 with a 14th edition that presents a week full of activities distributed between Bilborock and Sala BBK. Rocío Saiz, La Basu, Grison, Miguel Noguera, Carlo Padial and Coyote Girl and Tornado Boy They will be some of the main protagonists of a conference that will once again combine music, cinema, humor, podcasts, illustration and digital culture.
Organized by the association Chaostic and the filmmaker and cultural disseminator Borja Crespothe Conference on Culture and the Internet maintains its commitment to mixing disciplines and exploring new forms of creation linked to the digital environment. On this occasion, Tracking Bilbao It will also bring together names like Asier Sanz, Ane Lindane, Raquel Torres either Paco Sordoas well as different representatives of the Basque podcast and bertsolarism scene.
Once again, music will have a particularly prominent role in its programming: Rocio Saiz and The Basu will share the stage at Sala BBK in one of the main concert nights of this edition, while Coyote Girl and Tornado Boy They will be responsible for providing live music to a screening of “Acción Mutante”, the feature film by Álex de la Iglesia, in a proposal that will combine cult cinema and live music.
There will also be space for hybrid formats such as “Oreka Forest”a concert designed for family audiences in which music, theater and illustration will be combined on stage, or “Ez da kasualitatea”a meeting featuring women that will bring together bertsolarismo, music and illustration. The closure will come from the hand of Grison and his show “It’s not easy being Grison”which mixes beatbox, music, humor and improvisation and which can be seen for the first time in Bilbao.
The programming will be completed with proposals such as “Ultrashow” by Miguel Noguerathe projection of “Pizza Movies” with Carlo Padial and Asier Sanz or a new delivery of “La Galerna”, with Ane Lindane and Raquel Torres and Rocío Saiz as a guest The podcast will also continue to be one of the axes of Tracking Bilbao, with a new edition of Tracking Bilbao Podcasting and the awards ceremony for its sound creation contest in Basque and Spanish.
Beyond its artistic programming, Tracking Bilbao This year, it wants to reinforce its role as a space for reflection on independent culture and creative processes, focusing on issues such as care, collaboration, listening and sustainability. The Internet is once again considered not only as a dissemination tool, but as a cultural territory in which new communities, languages and ways of creating emerge.
