We premiere the video clip for “Moby Dick”, Billman’s new single

Billman They will publish an album in February of next year, but a few days ago they shared their song “Moby Dick.” Now you can see the official video clip of the song, available now on platforms.

First came “Brief Letter for a Long Goodbye” and now we have here “Moby Dick”, the second preview of “Memories of My Room”, the album that Billman from Madrid will publish in February 2027. It will be a new example of the combination between pop rock, alternative rock and post-punk aesthetics that the band combines in its essence.

Billman is a band from Madrid, formed by Bruno (vocals and guitar), Jorge (bass), Javi (guitar) and Edu (drums), and a sound that moves between the emotional intensity and the aesthetic rawness of the genre. Not in vain, the quartet recognizes influences from international bands such as Interpol, The Smiths, The Cure or even Fontaines DC, which they intertwine with what they learned from groups such as Los Planetas or Triángulo de Amor Bizarro.

“Moby Dick” talks about “chasing something that never quite appears. It could be a person, an idea, a response or a version of yourself that you think exists somewhere, but always seems to be far away. Taking its name from Melville’s novel, the whale is a metaphor for the struggle with oneself and the need to find something that makes sense of the noise inside that we don’t know how to get out of. Because, in the end, maybe Moby Dick was never out there.”

As for the video clip, it has been directed by Jorge Monsa director who has previously worked with artists such as the Irish Fontaines DC or the Madrid-based La Milagrosa.

After selling out all the tickets for their concert last weekend in Madrid, the group will be in Murcia (September 26, REM Room)although more dates will be announced shortly.
