For the first time in almost a decade, Barcelonans Medal They are going to release an EP. It is about “Architecture of Chaos-Vol. I”which will be released in October and will include several songs that, once again, will move between psychedelic rock and metal.
“Architecture of Chaos – Vol. I”the first EP that Medalla has published in nine years of experience, will be released on October 13 and will include several songs that were composed and recorded at the same time as “Machine Music” (25), but they expand the sound and compositional record of that last album towards other territories where immediacy is not so much in the foreground and experimentation is sought more,
Among them we will find “Modo Diablo” or “Pesadilla I” and “Pesadilla II”, one of the most lysergic, epic and chaotic pieces of his career. This release has not been conceived solely on a sound level, but is accompanied by an audiovisual piece signed by the Catalan artists. Lidia Arruego and Joan Castellówhich can also be seen on October 13 and which works as a “triple video clip, where through the recreation of the biblical myth of Cain and Abel, they turn the songs of this EP into a cinematographic journey where genres such as dark fantasy, B movies or mysticism intermingle.”
The release is published digitally under the label self-managed by the band itself, Estudio Mazmorra.
