The Navarrese band River Newt He will release his new album “Feedback” on October 23rd.
“Black Sheep” is the first preview of “Feedback”the new work of River Newtwhich will be released on October 23. The theme points directly against certain attitudes within the local scene, focusing on arrogance, ego, hypocrisy and those who demand respect that they have not yet earned. Musically, the band hardens its proposal with dense guitars, a forceful base and a dark atmosphere that brings its grunge metal closer to the heavier sound of the nineties, with Alice In Chains as one of its most obvious references.
The video clip, directed and edited by Alba Azpilicuetatransfers that rawness to the visual terrain through black and white, fisheye, grainy image and a nervous montage that combines the band’s performance with fragments of expressionism and silent film classics such as “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari”, “Metrópolis” or “Voyage to the Moon”. Irony, exaggeration and strangeness thus reinforce the defiant nature of the song.

Through its own system of modified guitar, hybrid electronics and tri-amplification, the group seeks to maintain a punch typical of much larger formations. “Feedback”, Already finished, it will open a new chapter this fall that will continue with a state tour.
