Cristina Llanos (Dover) opens up in a memoir

“Night fell and no one could save me” It is the memoir he published Cristina Llanoswho was the singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band Doverone of the most important groups in the history of Spanish independent music.

We haven’t been able to read yet “Night fell and no one could save me” the memoir by Cristina Llanos published by La Esfera de los Libros, but several general media have published previews of what is the first book in which a member of Dover, in this case their vocalist and guitarist, tells of their situation during those times. A very complicated situation due to depression, sexual assault and fibromyalgia that she has suffered for much of her life and for which she retired ten years ago.

In the book, the little girl from the Llanos – remember that she shared a band with her sister Amparo – recounts the ordeal she has suffered in her life from an early age until she decided to move away from the spotlight and the world of music after a few very intense years at the helm of Dover.

“Night fell and no one could save me” will be on the streets starting tomorrow, September 2. It will be the first time that Cristina Llanos explains all the problems she had since childhood due to a violent father, the depression that this caused her and a terrifying episode due to a sexual assault. Cristina turned to the world of music with which she became a true phenomenon, one of the most important bands that independent music has produced in our country. But we will also discover that part in the almost five hundred pages over which the narrative extends.
