Pulp share date and trailer for “What Do You Do For An Encore?”

One of the most anticipated news arrives around pulp. Finally there is a release date and trailer for his film “What Do You Do For An Encore?”.

“A night you will remember for the rest of your life” is one of the advertising phrases of the long-awaited “What Do You Do For An Encore?”a film that will delight the band led by Jarvis Cocker, but that, with complete certainty, will also captivate the rest of pop fans.

Directed by Garth Jennings –who already filmed clips like “Help The Aged” or “A Little Soul” by Pulp themselves–, “What Do You Do For An Encore?” is a ninety-minute narrative film that combines the members of the band telling their story, backstage scenes and a review of the group’s entire career from its dark beginnings to becoming one of the greatest British pop groups.

At the moment it has been announced that it can be seen on MUBI, although so far it has only been confirmed that there will be previews in cinemas in the United Kingdom and Ireland on September 18, in Canada on September 23 and in the United States on September 24. We will have to wait to discover if there will be a chance to see it in Spanish cinemas or how it will reach our territory.

Let us remember that Jenning has also signed videos for other artists such as Blur, Radiohead, Beck, Fatboy Slim or Vampire Weekend, in addition to directing some fiction feature films.
