OUR FEST announces the poster for its new edition

The Jesus and Mary Chain (in the photo), The Mystery Lights, The Dream Syndicate and Fat Dog, among other names, will star in the fifth edition of the Ourense festival.

OUR FEST has announced the part of the poster for what will be its fifth edition. The Ourense festival will celebrate its new edition on Saturday September 19 in Expourenseadding a list of artists who, in its international section, lead two prominent names in the history of alternative rock. On the one hand, the Scottish brothers Reid in front of the seminal The Jesus and Mary Chain and, on the other, the also legendary The Dream Syndicate led by the North American Steve Wynn. Complete the programming Mystery Lights (who have already shown their direct ardor in recent visits to our country), the British Fat Dog presenting their upcoming second album, “Cancel Me (I’m Tired)” (Domino, 26), which will be released in October, German Salto and the Galicians Bizarre Love Triangle defending what is his magnificent new job on stage, “My cathedral” (Sound Boy, 26).

After having, in previous editions, the presence of such prominent bands within the international indie scene as Primal Scream, Belle & Sebastian, suede, Metronomy, Teenage Fanclub, Happy Mondays, Shame, Baxter Dury, Miles Kane, Jake Bugg either Mercury Rev among many others, the new edition thus maintains the festival’s commitment to bringing together international references and cult bands in the same day, without neglecting proposals from the state and Galician independent scene either. OUR FEST It will also retain its single-day, covered venue format, with concerts as the undisputed protagonists. Tickets remain available through www.ourfest.gal and www.ataquilla.com, with a price of 40 euros plus administration fees. Our Fest has the support of the Xunta de Galicia through the Galician Tourism Agency within the framework of the Concertos do Xacobeo, and also of the Provincial Council of Ourense.
