Simon Greenthe British artist based in Los Angeles who we know as Bonobohas just released two new singles, one of them with the collaboration of Arooj Aftab.
Bonobo (Simon Green) has released the singles “Drift” and “Fire on the Water”, the latter featuring the collaboration of Pakistani-American artist Arooj Aftab, and “Drift”, both of which are now available on platforms through Ninja Tune. The lyrics of “Fire on the Water” are notable for their use of Urdu lyrics inspired by the poetry of Aftab’s close friend.
These two songs will be part of the DJ and producer’s next album “Distance In Static”which will be available on September 11. And pay attention because Aftab is not the only collaboration on the album, but we are going to find a long list of notable names.
In “Distance In Static” Let’s meet the collaborations of Joy Crookes, NilÜfer Yanya, Nicoles Miglis, Ichiko Aoba and Aanya Martin.
Let us remember that Bonobo will be performing this summer in Ibiza (August 4, Pikes Presents) and Málaga (August 8, Marenostrum Fuengirola).
