The Strokes delay their album a month

The Strokes have delayed the release of their album ‘Reality Awaits’, which was due out in two weeks, on June 26, and has now been scheduled for July 24. Now it will be released on the same day as, for example, Charli xcx’s new album, or the new ones by Shania Twain or Tyla.

In the same announcement, the New Yorkers have confirmed a big house concert on October 2 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with a lineup that includes Beach House, TV on the Radio and Fcukers as guest artists. Tickets will go on pre-sale starting June 17 and general sale on the 18th, with a discount for Queens residents during the initial sales period, for those reading us from New York.

In Spain, we remind you that Julian Casablancas’ band will perform on October 20 at the Palau Sant Jordi as part of its international tour to present the album, thus maintaining its only confirmed date in the country within this new stretch of concerts.
