Boris, twentieth anniversary of “Pink” in Madrid and Barcelona

Boris They are one of the Japanese groups that has surpassed the most boundaries with their music. Now they will return to our country to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of that energetic classic in their discography that is “Pink”.

We could count on the fingers of both hands the Japanese groups that maintain their presence outside their country for many years. The Boris trio is one of them, and for three decades they have been spreading their powerful and experimental sounds in equal parts throughout the world.

The trio formed by Takeshi, Wata and Atsuo has surpassed its third decade of life consolidated as “a center of gravity of the underground, a cell that declines all styles of feedback, from psychedelia to sludge, from stoner to drone metal, through pure and simple noise.” Hence, they have reached diverse audiences or have been able to publish their albums on labels as different as Southern Lord, Third Man or Sacred Bones, or that we can even hear them making soundtracks for the American filmmaker Jim Jarmusch.

In any case, the important thing is that now they will visit us again to celebrate with their Spanish fans the twenty years since the publication of “Pink”a work that combined psychedelic rock with metal and experimentation. We can see them in Madrid (Friday, October 23, Sala Mon) and Barcelona (Saturday, October 24, La Nau).

Tickets are now available at this same link.
