Ariana Grande is not as convincing in Spain as ‘De lejitos’

The Spanish singles chart continues to be dominated by Quevedo, who in the end is succeeding more with ‘La Graciosa’ (top 1) than with ‘Al golpito’ (top 2), although both have reached the top. Bad Bunny continues to climb given his residence in Madrid, but he “only” reaches the top 3 with ‘Baile unforgettable’, which was already number 1 at the time and has accumulated 5 platinum records.

Ariana Grande, who has been number 1 in the United Kingdom and the United States with ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me’, has a modest entry in Spain. It only reaches position 31 and the outlook is not too hopeful for next week, as it has already fallen to position 66 on Spotify Spain.

As usual with songs in English, Ariana holds up much better on Spotify Global, where she maintains the top 1 for the 7th non-consecutive day. The song has been top 4 in Germany, top 9 in France and top 24 in Italy, so Spain gives it one of its worst international data, although not the worst, which would be that of Belgium (38).

Actually, the strongest entry of the week is the remix of ‘De lejitos’ by Jay Wheeler and Omar Courtz. It is number 19 and will also skyrocket next week, as it has risen to number 3 on Spotify.

The satirical rap duo Los Diozes, which rises to number 4 on albums in its first full week, places several songs on the lists: ‘Cheki’ enters at number 33, ‘Payas’ at number 51, ‘To perdido’ at number 79 and ‘Mardosa’ at number 93.

The last entry is that of Myke Towers, who reaches number 46 with ‘Una ná más’.
