“Mystic piano” is the opening song “On horseback”album that puts the last stone in the configuration of “The Trilogy of Fear” from the Navarrese group Gap.
In “Mystic piano” a reggaeton-based part is mixed in the first half with an instrumental part with a base inspired by Horace Andy’s reggae that Juannakis composed with his drum machine. The lyrics tell us about the desire for manipulation, the pleasure it gives us to believe the story and make everything simpler, with a dose of humor in everyday life, making a small ode to the crowns; that part of the body that others see and we can ignore or feel the judgment.
In the video clip, directed by Miguel Erasoan office is “recreated where that sordid everyday life results in Dub ecstasy. An initiative that we are implementing in the most cutting-edge companies in Navarra to create more dynamic work groups. By next year more than half of the offices will have a Mystic piano guided by their CEOs.”
Gorka Beunza is the person most responsible for Gapvoice, synthesizers and composition, with the complicity of German Carrascosa (guitar), Javier Beunza (bass and backing vocals), Juannakis (percussion, drums and drum machine) and Guillermo Mutiloa (keyboards, as well as producer). This last work has also had the contributions of Claudia Chocarro (voices and choirs), Josito Armendariz (sax in “Rotten Apple”), Mikel Maraví (voice, guitar, charango and harmonica in “Algo tan bello”), Mathilde Rynar (voice and French adaptation of “Viens à moi”) and Axier Beunza (rhythmic base and arrangements in “Septiembre” and “Viens a moi”, as well as co-producer with Guillermo). All of them members of bands such as La Prima de Riesgo, Germán Carrascosa and La Alegría del Barrio… or other bands in the past such as Bananas, La Otra Gloria, River Nwet, Roland and Loop abestiak or Almanaque Zaragozano.
The album “On horseback”which will be available entirely in digital format on Bandcamp in September (for now you can listen to the 5 published previews), closes “The Trilogy of Fear” by the Navarrese group, after “Death” (2021) and “The new era” (2022).
