Charli xcx is taking care of letting her fans know about the expectations they should have regarding her next album, ‘Music, Fashion, Film’. This was announced today along with a cover featuring musician John Cale, designer Marc Jacobs and director Martin Scorsese. It will be available next July 24.
We know that ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ will include the singles ‘Rock Music’ and ‘SS26’, which will delve into the world of synth rock and will have nothing to do with ‘BRAT’. In fact, the two singles already released will be the first two songs on the tracklist, which is made up of 11 cuts. The album will last 30 minutes and 5 seconds.

The public response to the two singles released has been mixed and Charli knows it: «I have made an album and it is very different from the previous one. “I love it, but you might not and that’s okay,” says the artist in a video uploaded to TikTok. Charli won’t blame any fan for not liking the new album: “That’s what it means to have personal preferences.”
The video was uploaded to the platform hours after celebrating an event in London in which the artist did a DJ session with her husband, George Daniel, and in which she also showed some unpublished fragments or another. One of the ones that has drawn the most attention is the one that has been mixed with the remix of ‘Mean girls’ by Daniel: “Buying some shoes… rejected card,” sings Charli.
