Lima Negra collaborates with Soleá Morente in “Queen of gossip”

The Andalusian duo Black Lime They present two new songs. In “Queen of Gossip” they collaborate with none other than Solea Morente.

Lima Negra have shared two new songs. These are “Queen of gossip” and “Bicacarera canaria”, both now available on streaming platforms.

In these two new songs, the group embarks on the path after their album “Dangers”published last February. And the first surprise is that, to give shape to one of them, “Queen of Gossip”, they have turned to one of the most active singers on the Andalusian scene, Soleá Morente. According to their words, in this first piece, overcoming the distances, they approach, without prejudice, those brilliant compositions by Quintero, León and Quiroga that made the copla the most popular genre in Spanish music. Also appears Edu Espín as a collaborator.

In “Bicacarera canaria”, the key is found in the music of Celso Piña. The cumbiera inspiration and a production with a Latin essence, fresh and enveloping accompanied by lyrics that mix sensuality, humor, vulnerability and everyday poetry, as they themselves comment.

Black Lime are Javier Sola and Juan Carlos Ruizwho recognize a range of influences ranging from copla to The Libertines, including Juan Perro and Willy Deville.
