Metallica ask their fans to become blood donors

Metallica As they pass through the United Kingdom, they recover the request to their fans to donate blood. They have done it in collaboration with various state organizations and their NGO All Within My Hands.

Metallica have long been involved in social causes through their NGO All Within My Hands, as their most loyal fans know. Recently they have been asking their fans around the world to donate blood, a precious commodity in all hospitals around the world and of which there is never enough.

The fact is that they have now made the request for the first time in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with the blood collection services of Wales, England and Scotland, specifically the Welsh Blood Service, NHS Blood Ans Transplants and the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.

In this way, they take the work of their All Within My Hands foundation also to the British Isles, taking advantage of their upcoming concerts in Glasgow, Cardiff and London. Blood collection tents will be set up there so that fans who can donate blood and plasma.

Metallica urge all their fans to be part of something “much bigger than just a rock show, creating a powerful difference.”
