Kitai and Pignoise join forces on the single “Salta Y Rompe”

Kitai and Pignoise join forces in the single “Salta Y Rompe”, sixth preview of Kitai’s next album, scheduled for this spring.

“Salta Y Rompe” is the new single from the Madrid band with Alvaro Benito of Pignoise. A song that mixes pop with rock, and that connects with the sonic spirit that so characterizes Pignoise. The song serves as the sixth preview of the group’s upcoming album, “The Always Bar“, which will be released this spring. The union between both bands is not coincidental. It arose thanks to Pignoise’s participation in the celebration of Kitai’s tenth anniversary, which included the live recording of their concert at the Teatro Eslava in Madrid.

Along with this announcement, the band already has its sights set on 2026 with the first festival confirmations. For now, the group will go through the Festival of the Senses (June 13, La Roda, Albacete), Magnific Fest (June 19, Lleida), Valladolid Connection (June 27, Valladolid), Sonorama Ribera (August 5-9, Aranda de Duero, Burgos), Mediterranean Festival (August 12-15, Gandía) and Giant Festival (August 27-29, Guadalajara). Even so, there are still more dates to be confirmed.

Kitai is a band from Madrid formed in 2012. With four albums behind them, “What are they coming?” (2015), “Arsonists” (2017), “Mixtape” (2020) and “We’re not your fucking pop band” (2022), are preparing for the release of their new album. In 2025 they began a new stage with the incorporation of Kenya Saiz in the voice. Thus, Kitai has renewed their sound, and they are ready to begin their next musical era.
