Endesa Play launches second edition, and it does so by opening a call and counting on Siloam for its campaign with the participation of players from the Endesa League and the Endesa Women’s League.
Endesa Play begins the path towards its second edition with more awards and new stages for emerging musical talent. The second edition of Endesa Play increases the pace and adds prizes: in addition to the Jardín de las Delicias and Final Playoff of the Endesa League, the festivals Icónica Sevilla Santalucía Fest, Espacio Zity Zaragoza and the final of the 2027 Basketball Queen’s Cup are added as the stages on which the winners of Endesa Play will perform. Bands can now register through endesamusiclover.com.
After the success of its premiere in 2025 —with 441 artists registered and more than 100,000 online votes in its final phase—, the initiative expands prizes, incorporates new alliances and three face-to-face semifinals (Madrid, Barcelona and Seville) and multiply the stages in which the winning bands will be able to present their music.
This year the contest once again counts as a collaborator with the specialized music magazine Sound World and also adds two reference festivals, Iconic Santalucía Sevilla Fest and Espacio Zity Zaragozain addition to confirming presence in the Queen’s Cup 2027. These scenarios are added to those already consolidated: Garden of Delicias in Madrid and the final Playoff of the Endesa League. Added to these new features is the incorporation of the Spanish Basketball Federationwhich joins the already existing collaboration with the acb to bring music to the two major team competitions of Spanish basketball: the Endesa League and the Endesa Women’s League.
If the previous year the sponsors of Endesa Play were Sidecars, this time they occupy that role Siloam. But the most important part is that registration is now open and the process is as follows: all bands that are starting out, have an original song without rights, are over 18 years old and reside in Spain You can sign up now and until March 22. It is necessary to upload your proposal on Instagram under the hashtag #EndesaPlay and fill out the form that you can find here.
In these performances, three finalists will be chosen, while the fourth and fifth will be chosen by the public with an online vote, the result of which will be made public later. In it, the artists will perform their song rigorously live before the jury, which will decide which artists receive each of the Endesa Play awards. The entire process will be energized by Ana Medina, Ángel Carmona and Oski.
“Follow us the rhythm” stars Siloé and five stars from the Endesa League such as Miquel Salvó (Dreamland Gran Canaria); Jaime Fernández (La Laguna Tenerife); Will Clyburn (Barça); Dani Díez (Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos); Alberto Abalde (Real Madrid), as well as five others from the Endesa Women’s League Irati Etxarri (Movistar Estudiantes); María Espín (Innova TSN Leganés); Aina Ayuso (Hozono Global Jairis); Laura Piera (Club Joventut Badalona) and Cris Ouviña (Valencia Basket).
