Rosalía, on what she likes most in a man: “That he is gay”

Rosalía continues to make headlines after her spectacular performance at the BRITS, alongside Björk, no more, no less. This time it was the result of a conversation with the Argentine writer Mariana Enriquez for a Spotify podcast in which both authors have talked a little about everything, from the Catalan woman’s main defect to her favorite type of man.

“What is the quality you most appreciate in a man?” asks Enriquez. Rosalía is brief and accurate in her response: “Let him be gay,” she blurted out, awakening laughter from the interviewer. She matched the bet: “Well, we agree.” A few weeks ago, on the Special People Club podcast, Rosalía was speaking with Soy Una Pringada about how she had always surrounded herself, not only with gays, but also with women, describing the presence of people from the group as “divine.”

At other points in the conversation with Enriquez, the author of ‘LUX’ assured that the trait that most characterizes her is bravery: “I don’t know to what extent my prefrontal cortex is fucked up or not, but I think I’m brave because I find a taste for risk.” However, he also pointed out “lack of self-criticism” and “extreme self-flagellation” as two of his biggest flaws.
