Rubén Blades, Shinova, LP + Judith Hill, Gypsy Kings feat. Nicolás Reyes + Los Manolos, and Babasonicos + Silvestre y la Naranja They join the poster of Barts Festivalwhich thus completes its grid for this first edition.
We already knew the participation of artists such as ZZ Top, Belle & Sebastian, BEAT, Biffy Clyro, M-Clan or Joan Dausàbut now the poster is completed with new names that will round out a festival that will reach very diverse audiences always within the framework of the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona.
Rubén Blades, LP + Judith Hill, Gipsy Kings feat. Nicolás Reyes + Los Manolos, Babasonicos + Silvestre y la Naranja and Shinova are the artists who are joining the lineup, and it is also announced that there will be a Village experience that can be enjoyed every concert day, from 7:00 p.m., with gastronomic offerings for all tastes, a privileged environment and intimate concerts in this space on Montjuïc mountain.
The inauguration will take place on June 28 with BEATthe project where members of King Crimson revisit the most influential progressive rock. The international energy will continue with figures of the stature of ZZ Top (July 19), the global pop of Charlie Puth (July 8) or the British power of Biffy Clyro (July 20). The final stretch of the festival will experience historic moments with the “salsa poet”, Rubén Blades (July 23), and the closing vallenato of Silvestre Dangond and Juancho de la Espriella (July 24).
One of the distinctive features of this edition are the double bill nights, designed to offer unique experiences. On June 30, Poble Espanyol will vibrate with the rumba of Gipsy Kings and Los Manolos, the latter celebrating their thirty-fifth anniversary. On July 11 it will be the turn of the Argentine connection with Babasonicos y Silvestre y La Naranja, while on July 21 the stage will host the vocal talent of LP and Judith Hill, Prince’s protégé. Regarding the state scene, national and local scene, artists such as Joan Dausà (July 2), M-Clan (July 3), Marta Santos (July 4), Lax’n’Busto (July 15), Shinova (July 16), Ojete Calor (July 18) will participate.
The programming is completed with the legend of merengue Elvis Crespo (July 7), the tribute of God Save The Queen (July 9), the emotion of Antoñito Molina (July 10), the indie benchmark Belle & Sebastian (July 17) and the global phenomenon of Maria Becerra (July 22).
