Social Distortion return fifteen years later with “Born To Kill”

The legendary Californian band Social Distortion ends fifteen years of recording silence with the announcement of what will be his eighth album, “Born To Kill”. They will present it at the Azkena Rock Festival.

His return comes accompanied by the premiere of the single that gives the album its title, “Born To Kill”along with a video clip that represents the emotional catharsis that defines this new stage. It will be his eighth studio album and will be released on May 8 through Epitaph Records. The launch marks an especially important moment for its leader, Mike Nesswho is going through one of his best creative moments after overcoming his battle against cancer.

“Born To Kill” It will have eleven songs, with that incorruptible character that has made Social Distortion a reference for multiple generations in American rock. Co-produced by Ness with Dave Sardythe album features notable collaborations such as Benmont Tench and Lucinda Williamsin addition to a visual section developed together with the artist Shepard Fairey.

To celebrate the release, Social Distortion have confirmed a European tour for this summer with stops at festivals such as Rock Am Ring, Download Festival, Hellfest, Azkena Rock Festival and Rock Werchter.
