The 1975, tenth anniversary reissue of “I like it when you sleep…”

“I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so not aware of it” of The 1975 will be available in double vinyl format

ten years ago, The 1975 they released the album “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so not aware of it”. To celebrate this milestone, the band will release a new limited edition pink vinyl in a triple gatefold format. Additionally, the new version of the iconic album includes 17 12″ x 12″ cards, each representing a song from the album with lyrics on the back. This tenth anniversary edition will go on sale on February 27 through Dirty Hit.

Engraved in Los Angeles and produced by Healy & Daniel together with his collaborator Mike Crosseythe band’s second album distills their love of the ’80s sound into something undeniably modern. It served as the perfect contrast to his black and white debut. Upon release, the album debuted at number one on both the official album charts of the United Kingdom as in the Billboard Hot 200 of USA Additionally, it topped the charts in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Trained in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 have established themselves as the defining band of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, passionate fan base, and unique sonic approach. His latest album, “Being Funny In A Foreign Language”was released in October 2022, before the band completed their ambitious and acclaimed “At Their Very Best” and “Still…At Their Very Best”. Last summer, the band headlined the legendary Glastonbury Festival.
