The Barcelona room Parallel 62 will host this October and November the Piñata Music Seriesa festival in which quality prevails with an extensive selection of musical proposals from the international scene.
The name of the festival is not surprising when one takes a look at the poster and can find surprises and such varied styles, from jazz, fusion, Latin music, soul to funk, with artists of the caliber of Corinne Bailey Rae, Fatoumata Diamara, Avishai Cohen, Alfa Mist, Makaya McCraven, Billy Cobham and Mayra Andrade.
Since the opening of the festival with Alex Serra the next October 27th until closing with Delio Valdez he November 25, Piñata Music Series will offer twelve concerts, most of them doubles, with twenty-three artists from fourteen different countries. In the scheduled concerts we will be able to find both established artists and living legends of music as well as new proposals that are defining the most current trends.
The concerts will be the following: Alex Serra + La Chica (October 27), Azymuth + Mitú (October 28), Corinne Bailey Rae (November 1), Benny Sings + José James (November 2), Takuya Kuroda + Alfa Mist (November 8), Avishai Cohen + Mammal Hands (November 17), Mark Giuliana + Billy Cobham (November 19), Mayra Andrade (November 20), Makaya McCraven + Calibro 35 (November 21), The Cavemen. + Fatoumata Diawara (November 22), Pete Rock + Kassa Overall (November 24) and La Delio Valdes (November 25).
