The new album by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds is getting closer and closer

Nick Cave has revealed that the band is in the process of mixing their next album, which will be a continuation of ““Ghosteen” (19).

After finishing his North American tour, Nick Cave has announced on his FaceBook profile that he is at the beginning of mixing his new album and has asked his fans for patience through his website Red Hand Filessince he will not have much time to answer their questions with work in the studio, something that certainly will not displease any fan of the band.

Almost two years have passed since we learned of the existence of this new work. It was October of last year when for the first time Cave confirmed in a Q&A at London’s Southbank Center that he had started writing a new album with his band. In early 2023, he confirmed that work was underway and shared some ideas in the form of lyrics. Continuing with this most exciting promotion, the artist announced at nine in the morning on New Year’s Day that he was in the most intense moment of the writing process but that he doubted the quality of the songs “maybe it’s not very good , or maybe it is.”

Last month we were able to hear a preview of the new song at his concert in Chicago. To Be Found”, an unreleased song that has generated great expectations. Cave He hasn’t given too much information, but has described the material as “instantly interesting” as well as “different all the time.” He also said that he didn’t think he and the band could make “a record of Bad Seeds “old school where it’s basically a rock band playing.”

Nick Cave He is more active than ever, since he also commented that it could be possible that he was also working on a new album from his side project Grinderman.
